Stream ad-free or purchase CD's and MP3s now on lanmanebonvibuwonkayclapcomzeitan.coinfo initially I was a bit put off by the sub-par sound quality of the original release vinyl. The opening track, "Fisherman" has very noticable drop-outs and the album as a whole has various problems with eq and tape hiss /5().

  5. Please ignore any reviews for 'Heart of the Congos' 40th Anniversary editions prior to May They are nothing to do with the 40th Anniversary editions (3 x LP or 3 x CD). Both the CD and Vinyl 40th editions are great. Beautifully put together with great sound/5(35).

  8. Heart of the Congos was not well received even in its own country at first, it took years and die hard lovers of this album to become the not so hidden gem that it is today. Now its on CD and vinyl and streaming but for me, now that I have heard it on vinyl, it sounds the best, like its a secret spy code, or a night animal, that it only comes.
